Project outline

  • Collaborative workshop
  • 2x 1.5-2 hour screenshare
  • DMS will cover 2x welcome program builds (reward and non-reward, non-reward will need to ‘add contacts to’ reward program should they covert at any given stage)
  • We will cover program best practice, dotdigital terminology, how to test
  • We may provide action points for Equator/C&C in between each of the sessions, these will be reviewed on a follow up
  • Ideally, triggered emails should be ready at this stage, alternatively we will just use placeholders
  • A data field to identify members will be required
    Project requirements/additional scoping notes for the client to implement
    • Contacts are being pushes singularly in to the account via two forms, feeding in to two address books
    • What it's required is a field passed over with the ‘reward’ form that identifies the client's reward customer (this can be hidden in their form script), this is key for being able to push contacts between journeys should someone switch to a reward member during their journey – this should be the right article for the client's devs https://developer.dotdigital.com/reference/contacts
    • A data field should be added in to the welcome programs that will update a field to say they’re ‘in a journey’, this data field should be used in segments to exclude contacts from BAU whilst they’re in a welcome program
    • Some info about consent (if needed)
    • Recommended to have separate triggered emails for each of the journeys, it’s much easier to manage in the long run should any journey/ content need to change at any time
