Project outline
- Design & build of a custom preference centre including 20 marketing preferences
- Rush fee timeline to be applied (3+ weeks)
- To be built in sandbox account for testing, then replicated in additional account once signed off
- Standard preference centre notes and caveats:
- Unless otherwise agreed during scoping, all marketing preferences/lists/data fields will need to be set up prior to the preference centre being built, and a list provided to Dotdigital.
- Unsubscribes made via custom preference centres are reported at account level only. If you require campaign level unsubscribe reporting you will need to direct your unsubscribe link to the default Dotdigital account unsubscribe page.
- Contacts cannot update their contact ID email address or mobile number via the preference centre. These fields will be read only if pre-populated.
- The preference centre will consist of one page containing the preferences form, and one confirmation page. If an unsubscribe link is included, an additional confirmation page will be supplied.
- The custom preference centre will be built in one account only and can only update contact records in the account it is hosted in.
- In order to prepopulate with contact’s data, the custom preference centre must be linked to using the ‘Link to a page’ option in email campaigns sent from this account.
- The preference centre cannot be linked to from your website or any other external source – if accessed via any other method than the link in an email campaign as mentioned above, the contact’s data will not be prepopulated in the form.
- The preference centre cannot be hosted on your website - it only prepopulates the contact’s data when hosted in your Dotdigital account and linked to from email campaigns via the “Link to a page” option.
- The custom preference centre is not editable. Any future changes would need to be scoped and quoted for.
- Each field is mapped to a data field, list or marketing preference only in your Dotdigital account. Any further processing or integrating of that data will need to be scoped separately via your Dotdigital Customer Success Manager.
- The design will include standard radio buttons, checkboxes, text fields and dropdowns. Any bespoke form styling or functionality will need to be requested at quoting stage.
- The Creative team will not create any segments or automations, this would need to be quoted for separately if required.
- Should the scope differ from what has been quoted, additional charges and delays will apply.
Project requirements
- Client to send brand guidelines, logo, and wireframe to creative.services@dotdigital.com and complete brief here.
- Client to set up all required data fields and marketing preferences prior to the build taking place.
Cost and additional information
- Expected turnaround within 3+ weeks from receipt of assets, brief and processed order form. Timelines are dependent upon receiving feedback promptly at each stage of the project.

Professional Services Terms
The work described hereunder must be redeemed within 12 months from purchase, on a date and time to be agreed with Dotdigital. Unless due to the availability of Dotdigital, any failure to instruct Dotdigital to commence or agree the work described (in whole or in part) will result in forfeiture of the entirety of the fee and no credits or refunds, pro rata or otherwise, will be provided.
