Automation
The automation will be built to handle all current and future inactive contacts.
Start criteria
- Contacts will be enrolled into the program if:
- Their last sent date occurs exactly 700 days ago and their last subscribed date occurs more than 180 days ago
- Or, their SITCODE is a certain value, currently to be confirmed by Fusion Lifestyle
- The program will enrol contacts daily
- Contacts will be enrolled into the program every time they meet the start criteria
Structure
- Contact enters the program
- Contact is deleted from the account
- Contacts exit the program
Testing
The IC will work with Fusion Lifestyle to test the process. Testing can be completed by:
Using a small cross-section of live but inactive data to check the flow of the programs
Using a designated test list of contacts who don’t meet the criteria have not opened an email in the last 700 days
An end-to-end test will be conducted, and the results analysed to determine whether any changes to the program are required.
Documentation
Once the automation has been signed off and is live, the IC will create project documentation detailing the automation build and amending the start criteria.
If Fusion Lifestyle have any ideas about how this automation may change over time, they should flag them ahead of time, so that they can be incorporated into the documentation.
Assumptions
- The customer will be available for written sign off
- If the customer is unavailable, the customer will either nominate an alternative person to sign off or will accept the delay
- The project will only be created in the account dean.armoogum@fusion-lifestyle.com (36726).
- If the customer requires the elements to be built in a different account, they should advise the Dotdigital team which account should be used before the project starts
- If the elements need to be copied across to additional accounts, this will be treated as a change request and may incur additional costs
Constraints
Testing depends on the correct data being available in the account. |
Contacts will be removed from all lists and segments. This is a permanent action that cannot be undone. |
Contacts will be sent to the Recycle bin and held there for 30 days. After this time, their data is automatically and permanently removed. |
If any of the contacts in the list have a suppression record, some of their data might be retained to uphold this suppression. |
The contacts are not unsubscribed by this action. If Fusion Lifestyle wants to ensure that the contacts do not receive campaigns, they should unsubscribe them. |
