  • Creation of welcome program
  • Email 1, Day 1 – Triggered as soon as possible once contact has signed up if they have never purchased with us before
  • Testing: Subject Lines (3) so the first email leg will need to be split three ways
  • Wait 24 hours, have they made a purchase?
    • If yes, proceed to Email 2.
    • If NO, put them into a custom Facebook Audience and proceed to Email 2.
  • Email 1.5, Day 1 – Triggered as soon as possible once contact has signed up IF they have purchased with us before (any channel)
    • Wait 24 hours, switch BAU to YES and leave the programme.
  • Email 2, Day 2 – Triggered 24 hours after email 1 (regardless of purchase)
  • Email 3, Day 4 – Triggered 48 hours after email 2 (regardless of purchase)
  • Wait 72 hours, have they made a purchase?
    • If yes, switch BAU to YES and leave the programme.
    • If NO, proceed to Email 4.
  • Email 4, Day 7 – Triggered 72 hours after email 3 if customer has not purchased in the duration of welcome journey
  • Wait 72 hours, have they made a purchase?
    • If yes, switch BAU to YES and leave the programme.
    • If NO, set BAU to YES and enrol into the failed welcome programme.
  • Two rounds of amends on the build
