Project outline


The Implementation Consultant will:

  • Create a branded custom preference centre
  • Create a preferences confirmation page
  • Create an unsubscribe confirmation page
  • Include dynamic rules in the form
  • Have values/fields pre-filled or pre-checked if we already have a yes or information available for the contact


Project detail

Proposed sections

  • Header/title/intro
    • Subheader/text e.g., “Update your preferences for [email address]”
    • The email field will be hidden hidden on the form so that it can’t be amended
  • Section 1: What would you like to hear about?
    • These would be checkboxes, and pre-checked if they are already opted into these
      • Babyclub
      • Product
      • Ambassador
    • Only show this section if the contact is in two specific segments called ‘successful’ (we’ll use the segment ID to query this)
  • Section 2: How often would you like to hear from us?
    • HiPP UK Ltd need to confirm which frequency options should be displayed so the below options are an example – this can be covered at point of kick off)
      • Weekly
      • Twice a month
      • Monthly
  • Footer/end of form
    • Submit
    • Unsubscribe from all
    • Any footer content/wording/logos etc.

Once the preference centre has been signed off, the Implementation Consultant will update the account settings to set the form as the default unsubscribe link in campaigns – this would be the default page moving forward, there is no action for HiPP to add any additional links into email campaigns.

Required from HiPP UK

  • Any brand guidelines, or confirmation if they’re happy for us to use the website as a reference
  • Preference page content and any imagery to include (if images are required)
  • Unsubscribe confirmation page content
  • Preferences confirmation page content
  • Confirmation if we need to submit preference submissions to a specific list in the Dotdigital account

Things to note

  • Anything in addition to or outside of the above will require a rescope and may incur additional costs


    Project schedule

    Lead time here is estimated at 8-10 weeks, this includes:

    • The build of the three pages
    • Testing of show/hide logic
    • Testing of all form field submissions (internal and external + device testing)
    • 2x rounds of content amends

    Professional Services Terms

    The work described hereunder must be redeemed within 12 months from purchase, on a date and time to be agreed with Dotdigital. Unless due to the availability of Dotdigital, any failure to instruct Dotdigital to commence or agree the work described (in whole or in part) will result in forfeiture of the entirety of the fee and no credits or refunds, pro rata or otherwise, will be provided.
