Re-engagement / Reactivation – haven’t opened in some time: Re-engagement is, most often a tactic used to reach out to contacts who were at some point interested in and engaged with the customer's email but have now gone cold. It also performs some kind of list hygiene running on a regular basis to ensure customers stop sending to people who don't want their emails anymore. This requires more thought process - understanding why recipients have lost interest (their behavior, are the emails too frequent or no longer relevant, are the emails seasonal. Is the subject line not attractive for an open? Is the content not engaging?). So many factors with this one.
