  • The objective of this project is to develop a unified solution for Abellio East Anglia Limited to integrate Trustpilot's service review invitation emails with Dotdigital, overcoming challenges like incompatibility of BCC fields in marketing emails and Trustpilot API's OAuth authentication requirement (which can't be used with Dotdigital Program Extensions).
  • The solution entails creating a custom Dotdigital technical implementation that generates a unique URL for passing the required information to Trustpilot. This URL can be used within a CTA button in marketing emails or as a custom extension with personalized variables in the Dotdigital program. Consequently, review invitation emails are triggered to users 7 days after the send of the marketing email (and hitting the custom program extension) or click of the CTA button (this 7 day time-scale can be adjusted within Trustpilot).
  • A guide document will be provided to Abellio East Anglia Limited, containing details on how to set-up the custom program extension and CTA button for future campaigns.

    Project requirements
    • Abellio East Anglia Limited must provide a Dotdigital landing page, or page on their website, that can be used as a confirmation page when users click on the CTA button.
    • Abellio East Anglia Limited must provide Dotdigital with access to their Trustpilot staging environment (already provided as of 20th March 2024).
    Cost and additional information
    • The monthly support and maintenance costs (£220.35) for this project will be covered by a separate service agreement.
    • The expected turnaround for the solution will be within 5-10 working days of project sign-off.

    Professional Services Terms
    The work described hereunder must be redeemed within 12 months from purchase, on a date and time to be agreed with Dotdigital. Unless due to the availability of the Dotdigital platform, any failure to instruct Dotdigital to commence or agree the work described (in whole or in part) will result in forfeiture of the entirety of the fee and no credits or refunds, pro rata or otherwise, will be provided.
